Being and Having Enough
An abundance mindset can help us let go of perfectionism.
Sometimes when we are in a difficult season of our lives, we try to make ourselves and others feel better by over-doing and over-buying. In this guided meditation, I help you explore the difference between scarcity and abundance mindsets, how a scarcity mindset can lead to perfectionism, and how an abundance mindset can create potential that may have seemed impossible.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor who enjoys sharing mindful meditations and information about mindfulness. Below is a transcript of a meditation I led on this topic, and at the end of the article, you’ll find a link to the meditation video. What we’re doing is exploring what happens within us when we shift into an abundance mindset and affirm our “enoughness.” So let’s get started.
Meditation Transcript
As we approach this time, I’ll invite you to become present in whatever ways work for you. You can move as you make your way into your posture. Close your eyes if that’s comfortable for you, but it’s fine to have them open as well.
